An electrifying fusion of community service and youth power, Leo Sync-2024 brought home the message that making a difference can be exciting. Picture this: passionate young leaders coming together to create change, all while lighting up the stage with their talents.
The dance competition turned into an absolute showstopper, with eleven phenomenal teams from across District 317D bringing their A-game to the floor. MC Soujanya Hegde kept the energy pumping as teams delivered performances that had the audience and judges on their feet. Team Nruthya Vasantha Natyalaya claimed first place and ₹75,000, followed by Team Naatya with ₹50,000 and Team Clan taking home ₹30,000.
But here’s where the Leos proved that service is their superpower: they launched an educational sponsorship initiative supporting 25 students with 23 girls receiving ₹10,000 scholarship each. The initiative inspired Chief Guest PID V.V. Krishna Reddy to contribute an additional ₹1 lakh on the spot, extending support to ten more students. Talk about creating a ripple effect of positive change!
What makes Leo Sync-2024 even more impressive is that the event was entirely funded by Leos, who raised a whopping ₹8 lakhs from Lions Club members across the district. The event was a masterclass in showing how young leaders can dream big and deliver bigger!
