“Lions, your generosity and service have impacted many lives here in India and around the world,” says 2025-2026 Lions International President A.P. Singh. In conjunction with A.P. Singh’s presidency, the Lions Legacy program is expanding to India. To continue serving humanity, Lions can become an important part of the future of Lionism by including a gift to Lions Clubs International Foundation India (LCIF India) in their estate plan. Handled with care, a Lions Legacy gift will provide sustained funding for LCIF grant programs.
These grants help Lions serve their local communities by quickly responding to disasters, feeding the hungry, supporting vision and childhood cancer initiatives and so much more. Giving options include naming LCIF India as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy or a gift in your will. If you already have a will, your attorney may suggest you attach a codicil to make it make it easy to add or amend any terms.
When LCIF India is in someone’s estate plans, we know we are being treated as family, so we offer an array of recognition and benefits including being listed in the foundation’s annual report and on its website and receipt of the Lions Legacy Society newsletter. To thank those who commit at least US$1,000 to LCIF in their estate plans, the foundation is proud to offer a special Lions Legacy Society pin.
Becoming a Lions Legacy Society member strengthens Lions’ ability to respond to future emergencies or support new opportunities. These planned gifts also allow Lions to grow and diversify resources to reach even more people in years to come. “Including LCIF India in your will or as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy helps ensure generations of service,” says President Singh.

After considering loved ones, you may want to think about how your Lions service values can live on by leaving a gift for LCIF India in your will. President Singh says, “As Lions, we are on a journey for a kinder, healthier and better world. I hope you will consider joining the Lions Legacy Society so we can continue to promote humanitarian service and enhance the communities we serve well into the future.”
Visit our Legacy Society page to join the many Lions and friends who have committed to improving and enriching lives by creating your personal legacy with LCIF India. “Your commitment today creates a promising tomorrow,” says President Singh.
We strongly encourage you to seek professional legal advice for your estate planning and to ensure your will or codicil is validly executed and up to date. Lions Clubs International Foundation and LCIF India are unable to provide you with legal or financial advice.
