District 322H’s Lions Service Carnival Brings Clubs and Communities Together

The idea behind the Lions Service Carnival was simple — to help the public see, up close, the difference Lions Clubs make in people’s lives every day. A flagship project of Dalkhola Youth Lions Club, District 322H, the carnival held on September 13, 2025, brought together Signature Service Projects from Districts 322H, 322F, and 322B1 – a first-of-its-kind collaboration that reflected the power of working together for a common cause.

The event featured 13 Permanent Projects from various Lions Clubs on a single platform. A proud moment for the hosts was the launch of their own initiative — Jeevan Daan and Ambulance Service, offering affordable emergency support to those in need.

The day also gave space to young minds and local talent, encouraging learning and creativity. A Science Fair drew participation from eight schools, while 77 students expressed their ideas of peace through art in the Peace Poster Contest. The club also distributed five sewing machines under the Sui-Dhaaga Project, two food carts to help families earn a living, and school kits for fifty children.

Adding colour to the occasion, schoolchildren performed dances and elocution pieces, while a magician, juggler, and costumed artists—including a mirror man and impersonators of Aladdin and Charlie Chaplin—kept audiences smiling. The evening concluded with a live performance by the local band TAC.

The event was attended by a galaxy of Lion leaders including PID G.S. Hora, District Governors Arun Maheshwari (322H) and Suresh Agarwal (322H), Area Leader PMCC Nirmal Gidra, and several Past District Governors from Districts 322H and 322F. The all-day event welcomed 120 Lion members, and over 3,500 non-Lion guests.

What began as a way to create awareness became a day of shared joy and connection—proof that when people come together in service, a community truly comes alive.
