On September 28 and 29, Olympus High School in Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh came alive with purpose as 30 teachers gathered for an impactful Teachers Training Workshop organized by Lions Clubs of Vidisha Arya and Anandpur Sadguru, District 3233-G2, under the guidance of District Governor Maneesh Shah MJF.

Prerna Agrawal, a respected Lions Quest Faculty member from Guwahati led engaging sessions focused on Social and Emotional Learning (SEL). Teachers immersed themselves in hands-on activities, thoughtful discussions, and practical strategies they could immediately implement in their classrooms.
“What struck me most was seeing the teachers connect the SEL concepts to their daily classroom challenges,” shared Shashi Agrawal, District Chairperson for Quest, who played a crucial role in organizing the workshop.
The impact extended beyond teacher training, reaching 500 students from grades 5 through 8. Through both physical and online sessions, students explored emotional awareness, responsible decision-making, and healthy relationship-building. Each participating student received Lions Quest materials, ensuring continued learning beyond the workshop.
One teacher noted, “These skills aren’t extras—they’re essential. I’m already seeing my students communicate more openly and resolve conflicts more thoughtfully.”
The workshop represents Lions’ commitment to fostering youth development through education. As District 3233-G2 continues to strengthen SEL in schools, the ripple effects promise to touch more young lives across the region.
