GAT Area Leader – MD 3233 & MD 3234
During the seminar, Vice District Governor Ashutosh Vashistha passionately encouraged emerging leaders to step forward and contribute to strengthening the organization. Emphasizing the significance of expanding membership, he inspired attendees to take proactive steps in fostering a stronger, more engaged Lions community.
Distinguished speakers, including PDG Vinod Verma (Area Leader), PMCC Avinash Sharma, and Maninder Singh Chandok captivated the audience with their profound insights into the essence of Lionism. They delved into the intricacies of leadership, underscoring the importance of recruiting dedicated and quality-driven members. Their discourse reinforced the collective commitment to achieving MISSION 1.5 goals —a global initiative aimed at strengthening Lions Clubs worldwide through strategic membership growth and leadership enhancement.
Adding further depth to the event District Governor Sunil Arora, Past District Governors Anjana Jain, Sarvan Kajriwal, Ashok Thakur, and Alok Agarwal addressed the gathering with their invaluable perspectives. Their speeches served as a source of motivation and guidance, urging Lion leaders to take ownership of their roles in fostering a thriving community of service-oriented individuals.

A key takeaway from the seminar was the realization that achieving MISSION 1.5 is not just an aspiration but a shared responsibility. Leaders were reminded that their role extends beyond recruitment—it involves nurturing and empowering members to become future leaders themselves. The commitment to this cause was solidified when every attendee pledged to lead by example by introducing at least one new member to the Lions movement.
The GLT Seminar in Khatu Shyam Ji was more than just a gathering; it was a transformative experience that reinforced the core values of leadership, service, and growth. With such dedicated efforts, the future of Lionism in District 3233-E1 looks brighter than ever, driven by a collective vision to create a stronger and more impactful organization.
