Let’s Inspire: Women Leading Change Through Learning

Inspiration is not a servant that comes when beckoned. It is more like a visitor who arrives unbidden. Yet for District 3234-D2, inspiration has found a permanent home in its dynamic learning initiatives.

Under the leadership of District GLT Coordinator Pallavi Deshmukh, the GLT team has launched an empowering online training series “Let’s Inspire.” Through six carefully crafted modules, over 3,000 members have enhanced their skills in effective communication and collaborative leadership.

The momentum continued with the PST Schooling Micro Cabinet program ‘Shake’ in July 2024.

During Navratri, over 200 Lions participated in LLC courses inspired by the Navdurga concept. These sessions integrated timeless values with contemporary approaches to service, creating a meaningful blend of tradition and modernity.

The more you learn, the better you serve.
Translating learning into life-saving action is the district’s women’s health initiative, where 30 female Lions are championing cervical cancer awareness. This grassroots campaign will culminate in vaccination camps scheduled for January 2025.

As the district launches its Break Through Project – documenting success stories through multimedia platforms – and prepares for comprehensive DLLI training, one thing becomes clear: for Lions, learning isn’t just about acquiring knowledge; it’s about inspiring change and empowering service.
