This year, MD 320 has witnessed remarkable progress, achieving significant milestones in membership growth while expanding its reach and amplifying its impact. Spanning eight vibrant sub-districts across Telangana and Karnataka, MD 320 reflects on its achievements with pride and looks toward the future with optimism and confidence. Here’s a snapshot of the year’s highlights and a preview of the promising journey ahead.

Membership Milestones: A Growing Family
  • Membership Surge: With a net increase of 1,051 members, MD 320’s total membership now stands at an impressive 24,460 as of November 1, 2024.
  • New Clubs, New Beginnings: 25 new clubs were chartered, adding 590 enthusiastic members to our family.
  • Universal Growth: Every sub-district reported positive growth, a testament to our collective effort to expand our reach.
GAT Conclave: A Vision for Leadership
The GAT Conclave was a highlight of the year, graced by the presence of International President Fabrício Oliveira, International Director Babu Rao Ghattamaneni and a galaxy of Lion leaders. International President’s Certificates and Pins were awarded to outstanding members who exemplified service and dedication.
Groundbreaking Healthcare Initiatives:

International President Fabrício Oliveira laid the foundation stone for the LCIF-funded Lions Pavani Prakash Hospice. This one-of-its-kind project, to provide compassionate palliative care, was made possible with a generous US$1 million donation from PMCC Ch Prakash Rao.

The year also saw the foundation stone being laid for the Lions Nirmala Surya Raj Memorial Eye Hospital and Diabetes Care Centre on the outskirts of Hyderabad. An initiative of the Heart and Eye Foundation, the project is being spearheaded by PDG Badri Vishal Bansal.

ISAME Forum: Uniting Lions for Excellence

Promising growth, recognition, and camaraderie through its thoughtfully curated sessions and activities, ISAME Forum 2024 at Hyderabad’s HICC Convention Centre features an array of programs designed to strengthen leadership and enhance service impact.

  • Leadership Development: Tailored sessions for District Governors, Vice District Governors and Club Presidents.
  • Empowering Women and Youth: Celebrating achievers through SMYLE & Excellence Awards, and the Wall of Fame.
  • Lions Business Network initiative for business leaders
  • Professional Insights: Motivation unlimited with eminent guest speakers including Dr. Himanshu Rai, Mr. Kumar Gera, Shri Rajiv Bajaj, Ms. Sowjanya Hegde, Dr. Sanjay Arora and many more
  • Priceless Insights from Lions leaders, including International President Fabrício Oliveira, International First Vice President A. P. Singh, LCIF Chairperson PIP Dr. Patti Hill and others.
  • Community Outreach: Distribution of 1,000 support kits to orphanages in Hyderabad.
  • Incredible Entertainment: A celebration of Telangana’s many aspects through cultural programs, culinary adventures and entertainment.
  • Networking: Plenty of opportunities to connect and collaborate. opportunities.
This year, MD 320 exemplified what it means to serve with heart, vision, and purpose. With every new initiative and every new member, we’re not just building an organization—we’re building a legacy.

  • Be one of the 150 people who sponsor the most new members during each Lion year. Each constitutional area will have at least 5 winners per year.

MISSION 1.5 membership rockstars will also be recognized on lionsclubs.org, in LION Magazine, and at the international convention.
