EUPHORIA: Three Days That Shaped Young Leaders

At Aadishakti Leisure Resort in Kovalam, 59 young Leos arrived with different expectations but a shared curiosity about what the next three days might hold.By the end of the camp, they left with something far more meaningful—clarity about their strengths, confidence in their voice, and a sense of belonging to a larger purpose.

EUPHORIA, the Leo Leadership Camp of District 318A, was inaugurated by GAT Area Leader Adv. A. V. Vamankumar, who shared an inspiring perspective on life and motivated the Leos to keep moving forward with determination.

Leo District President Ummina Shereef chaired the session, which brought together several senior leaders, including Multiple Leo Coordinator Dr. A. G. Rajendran; PDG Dr. A. K. Abbas; Vice District Governors Er. Anil Kumar and Adv. R. V. Biju; Multiple Leo President Lekshmi S. Kumar; District Leo Principal Secretary M. Ummer Shereef, and Camp Coordinators Rejitha Sreekumar and Sunil Kumar. Their presence set a tone of encouragement and trust.

Over the next three days, faculty expert Mr. Moncy Varghese led sessions that helped participants understand their individual leadership styles.

Through practical exercises in communication, memory, and public speaking, the Leos discovered that leadership grows through steady effort and honest reflection. The group was divided into six teams, and within hours, shared tasks turned into conversations, and conversations into easy partnerships. The spirit of collaboration became one of the defining features of the camp.

District Governor Jain C. Job joined the participants with a message of appreciation and support. PMCC K. Suresh spoke about how Leo Clubs take shape, while both Vice District Governors Er. Anil Kumar and Adv. R. V. Biju shared insights on effective leadership, highlighting the leadership potential within each Leo. Lion Renju added her perspective on self-confidence and inner discipline.

Evenings offered a change of pace – cultural performances, games, a campfire, and a lively DJ night. These moments of shared fun strengthened the bonds formed during the day.

When the camp concluded, the Leos returned home with renewed purpose—ready to lead, contribute, and carry forward the quiet assurance they had found at EUPHORIA.
