The clubs donated 60 bicycles to students from 12 schools in Kolhapur, with five students from each school receiving this gift of mobility. Extending their support further, they provided wheelchairs, crutches, hearing aids, and food supplies to five families with differently-abled members.
The clubs demonstrated their commitment to preventive healthcare by conducting comprehensive health and eye screening camps for students. They also raised awareness about childhood, breast, and cervical cancer, reaching 400 residents in nearby rural communities with vital health information.
Encouraging creativity and peace-building among young minds, the clubs organized both a rangoli competition and a peace poster contest for school students. Their commitment to sustainable community development was also evident through financial contributions of Rs.51,000 each to Aastha Apang Sanstha and rural schools in the region.
This far-reaching initiative, representing an investment of over Rs.5 lakhs, saw the presence of District Governors Vijay Sarda (3234-D2) and Adv. M.K. Patil (3234-D1), along with officers from both clubs and their respective Region and Zone Chairpersons.
