GAT Conclaves: Knowledge Sharing for Stronger Service
MD 317 organized GAT Conclaves across Districts 317A, 317B, 317C, 317F and 317G, creating platforms for knowledge exchange and leadership development. The conclaves collectively engaged about 800 Lions, including Club Officers, Region Chairpersons, GAT Coordinators, and Zone Chairpersons, all united in their commitment to expanding Lions’ service impact.
The District 317F conclave, held on January 4, 2025, at Bangalore saw active participation from GAT Coordinators and members.
The experienced faculty for the GAT Conclaves included Area Leader Vaman Kumar, Vice Area Leader PID Vamsidhar Babu, PID V.V. Krishna Reddy, and PID Mathanagopal. During their sessions, the faculty shared valuable insights on membership growth, leadership development, and strategic initiatives.
MISSION 1.5 Progress: Strong Growth Across Districts
The commitment to expand Lions service reach through MISSION 1.5 is yielding results across MD 317. In a coordinated effort to strengthen community service, districts have successfully chartered new clubs and welcomed hundreds of service-minded individuals to the Lions family.
MD 317 formed 26 new clubs and added 626 members to the Lions family:
- District 317A: Three clubs with 73 members
- District 317B: Two clubs with 42 members
- District 317C: One club with 29 members
- District 317D: Four clubs with 119 members
- District 317E: Eight clubs with 181 members
- District 317F: Two clubs with 42 members
- District 317G: Six clubs with 140 members
Moving Forward
The combined momentum of GAT Conclaves and new club formation positions MD 317 for greater community impact. As these initiatives continue to develop, there will be more hands to serve and more lives touched.
